The Loganlea Dance Collective is inclusive of all Loganlea State High School students and provides opportunities at an extra-curricular level for students to foster their passion for dance. Students will be a part of a fun and safe learning environment and have the opportunity to be involved in a number of dance experiences in different contexts.
The program will develop students' technique, strength and flexibility across a range of styles and will teach them to value dance as a form of self-expression. Students will have the opportunity to be a part of a range of performances such as eisteddfods, school parades & Arts Expo, which will help foster confidence and encourage growth as a dancer.
Loganlea Dance Collective aligns with the school's three values of respect, integrity and resilience and participation in the program will involve a commitment from students to attend rehearsals, technique classes and performances. Students develop skills in collaboration, creativity, productivity & leadership which are highly desirable 21st Century skills for employment.
