Another successful NAIDOC Day was celebrated at Loganlea State High School on the 13th July.
The whole school was treated to a parade of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Island dancers, didgeridoo playing, songs and stories.
The parade was followed by activities which included Indigenous games, cooking, animated films, Indigenous art, painting, music, didgeridoo workshops and a screening of the movie ‘Bran Nue Dae’.
A sumptuous morning tea was served superbly by Loganlea students to teachers and esteemed guests. Many thanks to the hard working team headed by Michelle Daylight (Head of Indigenous Education) for a wonderful day.
