Towards the end of last Term, sixty students from the Business and information technology departments had the opportunity to go to an excursion at Dreamworld. Students learned about the operations of Dreamworld, the occupational health and safety requirements of the park, human resource management and the park’s target markets in a presentation by the park’s employees. Students also had a brief opportunity to go on some of the rides – which they quite enjoyed! The students were a credit to themselves and the school, with positive feedback from all of the students.
“I learned that Dreamworld is a normal workplace like any other.”
“… it was a fun experience and an enjoyable time.”
“I learned a lot of valuable stuff and had a fabulous day.”
