On Wednesday 7 November, Loganlea state high school was involved with the Marsden primary school community expo. Now in its second year, this expo is an opportunity for many local services and schools to promote themselves and the wonderful work they do in the community.
Loganlea State High School took this opportunity to promote itself and further enhance our reputation in the community. Students from the Music and Dance Departments of our school performed on their parade in the morning. The primary students were also very excited about Farmer Norm and the animals set up on a section of the oval where they were able to pat and touch the baby cows, goats and chickens.
A big thanks also goes to our Hospitality Department for supplying us with some yummy muffins to sell on the day to all the people who visited our stall. Thanks to those all those student, teachers and support staff who gave up their time for this event. We’re looking forward to being a part of this event next year.Danny ParkerHead of Department - The Arts
