Student services and support programs

The Student Services at Loganlea State High School have been designed to provide a range of support from incidental to a complete "wrap-around" service involving the student, the parent, external ​agencies and the school.


The Wellbeing Hub provides all students, staff and parents with support through the:

  • School Based Police Officer

  • School Based Youth Health Nurse

  • Youth Support Co-ordinators

  • Chaplain

  • Guidance Officers

The Knowledge House, in conjunction with the Yugambeh-Yuggera Community provides all First Nations students, staff and parents with support through the:

  • Community Education Counsellor

  • Indigenous Education Workers and Teacher Aides

  • Community Elders

  • Cultural awareness and leadership programs

  • Beyond the Broncos Program

Our Connections Officer supports transition from school to work and further study through:

  • School based apprenticeships and traineeships

  • Development of resumes and access to work experience

  • TAFE courses and individual learning programs

  • Work preparation programs

Our general student support staff includes:

  • Deans of Students

  • Learning Engagement Centre (including Special Education Support)

  • Learning Support Team

  • STAR Excellence Program Coordinators in Agribusiness, Signature Academic, IT Excellence, Rugby League Development Program, Upper 90, Netball Excellence, Loganlea Youth Development Program, Loganlea Dance Collective and Music Excellence

  • Transition Officer
