Business Communication and Technologies

Business courses provide students with an understanding of the skills required to operate a small business as well as the basics of business communication, international business operation, people and information management, workplace health and safety, equipment usage and business documentation.
Our students excel through participation in the Griffith Business Programs which encourage students to further business studies at university by linking the curriculum of schools and university and by fostering positive relationships between students, teachers and academic staff. The programs extend over 3 days, one day per term.
‘The Griffith program was a great experience which provided myself and other students with an insight into Business at Griffith Uni. This program allowed us to work together with other schools to evaluate the importance of studying a business degree. During the course we completed three assessment pieces which focussed on areas of entrepreneurship and sources of power. We were given a wide range of knowledge from different aspects and different opinions from several people. This program provided us with a direct entry into any business degree of our choice and offered a few lucky people bursaries. This business experience has inspired me to undertake a business degree at Griffith. This program was a great experience that should be embedded into all schools to keep the program running.” Montana Ainsley
